Your new job.

In collaboration with other school staff, you will implement health-promoting, preventive, and remedial measures at the school, group, and individual levels. You are a driving force in safety work and efforts against bullying and discrimination. You will work closely with both principals, both in daily operations and in development work. As a school counselor, you will be part of a network with your counseling colleagues. You will have regular supervision and also participate together with other colleagues in central child and student health.

Your qualifications

You are a social worker, or have education, experience, and competence that the employer assesses as equivalent. We prefer that you have experience working in schools and can contribute professionalism based on an understanding of the school's mission. You have a good insight into the school's governing documents, the Social Services Act, and other relevant laws, as well as knowledge of other administrations and support functions for children and families. You master the Swedish language, have good IT skills, and hold a B driver's license. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Good to know

As a school counselor, you belong to the central child and student health in Markaryd. Counselors work at one or more school units based on the needs of the operations. The current position will split its time between Strömnässkolan F-6 and adapted school 1-9. The position is full-time.

Permanent employment from August 1.
