JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently seeking a dedicated care assistant for Toftagården röd. Toftagården röd is a group home with special services according to LSS, specifically aimed at elderly individuals.

The job of a care assistant involves providing support to individuals in their daily lives. The work is conducted in accordance with established implementation plans, routines, and action plans. Support is provided in eight apartments for individuals who need a well-adapted physical environment, care, activation, and both social and physical stimulation. There are opportunities for activation and stimulation in common areas to maintain abilities and foster social interaction with others. In our workgroup, we are development-oriented and collaborate to create a good quality of life for the care recipients. We also meet for joint team and workplace meetings.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, you need to be responsible, cooperative, and engaged. You work with a clear focus on the care recipient and are confident in your professional role. We prefer that you have experience working with individuals with disabilities. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of intellectual disabilities and physical impairments, as well as experience in somatic care and end-of-life care.

Since the job requires documentation, you need to have basic computer skills.

To be considered for the position, you must have a recognized qualification from the health and care program, child and leisure program, nursing education with further training, caregiver education, or other education that we deem suitable for the position, such as behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level of at least 120 credits.
