The Social Services Department is tasked with meeting people of all ages and life situations, whether it concerns care and support or assistance and services. We are available around the clock, supporting daily life for children and families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and those who need home care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We from the Employment and Support unit are looking for someone with a genuine interest in social work with adults. As a social worker with us, you will investigate and assess the right to financial assistance based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the municipality's guidelines.

We always work based on the individual’s needs and circumstances. Together with our clients, we strive to find solutions that strengthen the individual’s resources and opportunities to become self-sufficient and live an independent life with good quality.

As a social worker, you will work together with labor market coordinators to support the client in getting closer to the labor market and/or in the right safety system. In this work, we collaborate with other parties within the municipality, with healthcare, and other authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a completed degree in social work or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• is curious, independent, creative, meticulous, and flexible
• has a good ability to prioritize
• has good collaboration skills both internally and externally
• is interested in working based on the individual’s own opportunities and resources
• is engaged and wants to contribute to the development of the organization
• can express themselves well in speech and writing

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (B) is required.
