JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are hiring, together with Alvesta, Lessebo, and Tingsryd municipalities, a representative, guardian, and administrator for a new unit to quickly and efficiently provide support to citizens in their daily lives. The role involves representing individuals who are unable to do so on their own. This includes safeguarding rights, managing property, and caring for individuals by contacting authorities, paying bills, reporting on individuals' finances, and advocating for their interests in various situations. The assignments come from the supervisory authority, which has assessed individuals' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a post-secondary education as a social worker or in psychiatry, addiction, health and social care, law, or other experience that we consider suitable. Responsibility and commitment are of utmost importance when you want to do your best for the individuals you represent. You can build trust and establish long-term relationships while respecting people's integrity and self-determination.

You are an empathetic person who wants to help others. You solve problems that arise in a structured manner and are accustomed to making well-founded decisions. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team while also being able to adapt and work independently when required by the organization.

You possess strong communication skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing. Since the job requires budgeting and reporting on personal finances, you need to have an interest in economics. You are attentive and adaptable, and if you have knowledge of authorities and governmental decisions, we consider that a plus. Given the nature of the work, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The suitability of a guardian and administrator must be assessed by the supervisory board before assignments can be assigned. Before any interview, the supervisory board will conduct checks on you in the police criminal record, with the enforcement authority, and with the social services in the municipality where you are registered.
