Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, stable, and understands that as a personal assistant, you are somewhat in the background and are a helping hand during various moments. It is also important that you are attentive and adaptable, and comfortable accompanying the client to church.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 60s residing in Linneryd
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is non-smoker
• wants to work every other weekend and has studies or another job that can be combined
• can tolerate pets as there is a cat in the home

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• have experience with MS

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is at 30%. The job involves working every other weekend during the day/evening, and every other weekend at night with active night shifts. Week 1 off, Week 2 Saturday 8-14 Sunday 8-23, Week 3 off, Week 2 Friday 14-23 Saturday 23-08 Sunday 23-08 (awake night).

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

immediate or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
