Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 60s living in Växjö
• has experience with MS and has worked with a lift
• speaks and understands Swedish fluently
• has a B driver's license
• does not have a pet allergy as there may occasionally be animals in the home.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the client's interests, which include flowers, shopping, and cooking

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer substitutes, and the employment rate is as follows. Assistance involves work during daytime, evening, or nighttime with on-call duties.

1 position: Dates: week 23-34 (7/7- 1/8) Approximately 60% employment rate Working hours vary from week to week Mon-Fri 8-16, Sat and Sun 9-16

2 position: Dates: week 28-30 (7/7 - 25/7) Employment rate 68.14% Working hours 18.30 - 07.40 On-call between 01.00-06.00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
