We are now looking for a new addition to our Dream Team in Southern Skåne.
We are growing rapidly. In the latest rating from the employment agency (January 2025), Jobcenter in Ystad, Skurup, and Trelleborg received four stars (the highest rating), which means that more job seekers entitled to Rusta and Matcha choose to come to us to find jobs. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team with one more person.

Job Responsibilities
As a mentor, you will primarily work with individual guidance and career counseling. You will work with individual planning that is unique to each person's circumstances and background.
The job responsibilities may include:
- Planning, following up, and mentoring various activities towards work/studies together with the participant
- Being an inspirer and seeing opportunities for the individual
- Mapping and identifying individual needs and conditions
- Focusing on the fastest route to work/studies
- Working with goals and action plans for the individual
- Supporting participants in their challenge to find and apply for jobs, including support to create attractive application documents.
- Strengthening the participant's skills in finding and applying for jobs
- Matching the participant with work and marketing their skills to employers
- Contacting employers and checking their staffing needs
- Documenting and reporting completed activities
The work also involves outreach contact with educational providers and employers. You will map participants' needs and plan for the interventions and activities that may be needed for participants to reach their goals.
Your skills and background:
You are attentive, structured, meticulous, and a team player. You need to have good digital skills as we use several different digital tools. You master Swedish and English without problems, and if you speak additional languages, that is certainly an asset. We place great emphasis on your personality in this recruitment.
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in the humanities and work experience in coaching within employment services. Since the position is based on an agreement with the Employment Agency, you must meet the competency requirements according to one of the following options:
Option 1:
Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).
Work experience: At least two (2) years of accumulated work experience equivalent to full-time.
Option 2:
Education: At least one (1) year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with at least a passing grade.
Work experience: At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks: Management with personnel responsibility, recruitment, restructuring work for job seekers, study and career guidance, handling personnel issues (not just personnel administration), work with labor and labor market issues, as well as work with social and group psychology, career guidance. Part-time work may also be accepted if the accumulated working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.
