Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and the needs of patients are at the center.

Sölvesborg Health Center is one of the health centers included in Hälsoval Blekinge. Various professionals work at the health center to provide the best care for our 9,400 registered patients. The workplace is environmentally certified.

The Job

As a conversation therapist, you will have individual conversations where common reasons for seeking help are anxiety, stress, depression, and crises. You will lead groups, both independently and together with a colleague, in areas such as mindfulness, NADA, and anxiety. A couple of times a week, you will work with telephone counseling. Collaborative work, both internally and externally, is part of the job. A large part of the work consists of assessments and conversation treatment that you need to be able to perform independently. We offer you colleagues with high competence, close collaboration with other professionals at the health center, regular external supervision, and a development-oriented environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a caregiver, behavioral scientist, psychiatric nurse, social worker, and/or has level 1 training. You have experience working with conversations and mental health issues. Work experience from psychiatry is an advantage. The conversation team works on both individual and group levels, so you also need to be able to lead groups. Competence in mindfulness and NADA is an advantage. To thrive with us, you need to have a good attitude and be good at collaborating. We are looking for someone who is communicative and structured. Development work engages us, and we would like you to actively participate in it. You master the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the position. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
