Family Law Social Worker Wanted at Cura Individutveckling

Cura Individutveckling is a municipal federation with members from the municipalities of Blekinge. Our mission is to conduct activities, primarily in the psychosocial and neuropsychiatric areas, where the municipalities see advantages in coordinated efforts. We offer, among other things, care, support, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families. In the area of autism and Asperger's syndrome, we provide high school education with boarding as well as group housing and daily activities.

Our values are based on the principles of respect, engagement, security, development, and professionalism.

Responsibilities of Family Law

The Family Law department is responsible for counseling and authority exercise in family law matters for the municipalities of Ronneby, Karlshamn, Olofström, and Sölvesborg. The responsibilities include information meetings, cooperation meetings, investigations, and agreements regarding custody, residence, and visitation, establishment of parenthood and paternity, as well as consent for adoption. In our work, the child is always at the center.

The Family Law department is located in Karlshamn, where seven family law social workers work, one of whom is going on parental leave, and we are looking for a substitute.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a family law social worker, you will work with authority exercise in the family law area, focusing on the best interests of the children. You will conduct information meetings, cooperation meetings, and carry out investigations such as paternity investigations, custody, residence, and visitation investigations, and consent investigations regarding adoption.

The work involves personal meetings with both adults and children, effective documentation, and collaboration with the municipalities' social services.

Cura Individutveckling offers extensive professional development, and as a new employee, you will receive a tailored introduction. We have our own Resource Center whose training and lectures Cura's employees can participate in. We hold distribution meetings and reviews every week to maintain a manageable workload. You will have the opportunity to develop within the family law area. You will receive continuous external supervision and present leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have a degree in social work or another relevant degree, according to the National Board of Health and Welfare. You need at least one year of experience in investigative work within social services. It is certainly an advantage if you have worked with family law for a longer period.

It is important that you are structured, relationship-building, and independent. Quality assurance work and documentation require you to communicate clearly in both speech and writing. You should also have a good ability to collaborate, as this is a success factor for our Family Law.

You must have a B driver's license (manual transmission) and a clean extract from the police criminal record.
