Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with both men and women aged 35-50 residing in Olofström
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• is physically fit and can assist with transfers
• is available to work day shifts, evening shifts, or night shifts on weekdays and weekends
• can complete training in delegation
• is available to work during the holiday period in June, July, and August It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work or other work in healthcare/social care
• have experience with autism and/or low-arousal approaches
• have a B driver's license. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is approximately 75%. The job involves working during the day, evening, or night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

You should be available immediately to start the introduction and be able to step in as needed until summer, and then be able to work weeks 24-34 according to the schedule.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
