About us

The Valjeviken Foundation provides idea-driven primary care, rehabilitation, folk high school, and conference activities. For over 30 years, the organization has expanded intensively and we cater to many different target groups. Our health center Valjehälsan is part of the Health Choice Blekinge and is a complete medical practice in western Blekinge with 8900 registered patients. The health center employs about 40 people in various professional groups, and there are great opportunities to get to know colleagues across all professions. We work in teams with different professional categories to meet individuals who have been affected by mental health issues in various ways.

About the job:

Your tasks at the health center span a very broad field and involve individuals of all ages. In your role as a curator, you are responsible for psychosocial care, which also includes support conversations and crisis management. You will guide patients in finding further paths forward by increasing their awareness of their life situation, their own possibilities, and resources. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and follow up on conversation interventions.

About you:

You have a degree in social work and preferably are a health and medical care curator. It is advantageous if you have basic psychotherapy training with a focus on CBT/CBT step 1 training or are trained as a conversation therapist step 1 or step 2. Additional merit is experience from working at a health center. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as relationship-building ability, approach, and competence. We see it as an advantage if you have an interest/experience in working with patients in group settings and also digitally. We believe you are an engaged and flexible person who enjoys working both in teams and independently. As a person, you have a genuine interest in people and always keep our patients in focus. We expect you to work together with your colleagues based on high competence and good approach.
