JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with preventive and outreach efforts primarily within the age group of 13-17 years. The work involves varied tasks based on what is relevant in the community.

Your role includes having conversations with youth, being comfortable leading groups, and providing information in schools about topics such as alcohol, drugs, and crime. The work involves collaboration with various actors such as the police, leisure services, and schools.

In collaboration, we work on the FIBU project where we organize tutoring, lectures on various themes, and arrange internships for youth during the summer.

Fieldwork during evenings and weekends is included, and you will be present in youth environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have a university degree as a social worker, social educator, or another relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have experience working as a field secretary and/or in general youth work or other relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

Further education in MI, youth work, crime, or addiction is also desirable. You have good skills in having supportive and motivational conversations, and it is important that you as a person are unpretentious, open-minded, proactive, and curious as contact with youth is based on voluntary grounds. You feel secure in youth environments both in schools and in outreach contexts. You have a good ability to conduct meetings and are accustomed to working with authorities.

You enjoy having varied tasks that can change based on situational events.
