JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in the area of disabilities is both an exciting and challenging job. As an employee, you must be independent and flexible in your working methods. Each shift, you will have contact with users, relatives, and colleagues, so it is important that you are good at communicating with different types of people and that you treat everyone with respect in your professional role.

Support Assistant:

The role of a support assistant means that you, with an emphasis on a structured and pedagogical approach, provide support and service to the child/young person. This includes tasks that occur in all aspects of daily life such as homework help, cooking, activities, and cleaning. All based on the needs and wishes of the child and family. The work is based on the child/young person's implementation plan. Documentation is part of the job, as well as parental contact and collaboration with both internal and external partners.

Support Educator:

As a support educator, you have advanced knowledge and competence in the field and have a complementary role in guiding, quality assuring, and supporting colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, and the recommended working methods of the National Board of Health and Welfare.

In addition to the role of support educator, you work with the basic assignment as a support assistant, which means that you, with an emphasis on a structured and pedagogical approach, provide support and service to the child/young person. QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Care and nursing program, Nursing program with specialization in disabilities or care, as well as the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social work. Vocational college, at least 200 YH in an appropriate area, Ky Psychiatry, or university 60 HP in an appropriate area.

Documentation

Documentation is an important part of our work, and you therefore need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
