We are currently looking for someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Bräkne-Hoby.

What does this position entail?

As a personal assistant, you will work with a person with a disability. You will help with everyday tasks that many take for granted, such as dressing, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in leisure activities. You make a significant difference and help another person's daily life function.

Your workplace is wherever the client is, and the job is both varied and eventful. Contributing every day to help someone live their life as they wish is, in our opinion, the most important job in the world.

With the client in Bräkne-Hoby, the personal assistant provides support where needed. You see what needs to be done without taking away the client's opportunity to manage their routines in their own way. Approach with motivation and think in a salutogenic way.

Working hours are scheduled for all days of the week.

Weekdays from 15:45 to 08:30 with on-call duty at night

Holidays from 12:00 to 08:30 with on-call duty at night

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• be a woman.
• not smoke.
• have a B driver's license (manual) and access to your own car.
• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• be able to work flexible hours - day, evening, night, and weekends.
• have experience in care and assistance (this is a plus but not a requirement).

Additional information

Employment type: hourly employment as needed (chance for longer temporary employment)

Scope: 0-50 %

Working hours: Weekdays 15:45-08:30, Holidays 12:00-08:30 (on-call at night)

Start date: by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
