Service Officer Wanted for the Service Office in Kristianstad

We are now looking for someone to help us during the summer holiday period in the role of service officer at the service office in Kristianstad.

We work with a service-oriented approach where you and your colleagues take joint responsibility for your mission and learning.

Main Responsibilities

As a service officer, you will provide quick and professional service to visitors by answering questions from individuals and businesses. A large part of your work involves guiding customers to use the collaborating authorities' e-services and finding information on websites. In your role, it is important that you listen actively, adapt your approach to the customer, and have a pedagogical attitude.

In your customer meetings, you will have support from the various authorities' IT systems. In addition to introduction and training, time is allocated each day to familiarize yourself with the information you need to stay updated on news and changes affecting the service office's operations. You will also staff the service office in Karlskrona, which may sometimes occur at short notice.

Qualifications

You are driven by providing our customers with good service by identifying each customer's needs and providing answers or guidance. Since you work closely with customers, you must feel comfortable in direct meetings with customers from various backgrounds and abilities. In short, we are looking for someone who has both a positive demeanor and the ability to quickly absorb new knowledge.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university degree of 80 credits/120 ECTS or equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience
  • At least two years of experience in a service profession where you have informed and guided customers during personal meetings
  • Knowledge in information retrieval and experience using e-services

Furthermore, you should have the following abilities:

  • Quickly establish contact with others in an objective and professional manner
  • Map the customer's needs by asking questions and listening actively
  • Communicate orally and in writing in Swedish
  • Communicate orally in English
  • Adapt your working methods to the varying needs of customers
  • Handle multiple customers simultaneously
  • Contribute positively to the team's results and collaboration

It is also an advantage if you have:

  • A valid driver's license (B)

Other Information

The employment is temporary during the period from June to August 2025. The position is full-time. Start date is negotiable. The position is located at the service office in Kristianstad. We do not have the option for remote work. Travel may occur. A satisfactory result in a security clearance is required for employment, and the position may be classified in a security class, which also involves a background check.
