We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an admissions officer based at the Alnarp campus.

About the job

As an admissions officer, you will assess the eligibility of applicants with both foreign and Swedish backgrounds. In addition, the role includes informing about eligibility and selection rules, writing statements for appeal boards, compiling and processing statistics, and contributing to the development of informational materials. The work also involves staffing phone hours, responding to emails, and maintaining continuous contact with students, institutions, and faculty offices.

Your background

We are looking for someone with experience in admissions processing from a university/college. You have an academic degree equivalent to at least a bachelor's degree. You have good knowledge of NyA, Ladok, Word, Excel, and Outlook. You also have good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We seek someone with a well-developed service mindset and good communication skills. As a person, you are meticulous, have a structured work approach, and are accustomed to making well-founded decisions based on applicable regulations.

You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.

About us

The Education Department is a division within the university's operational support. We are responsible for administrative and supportive activities primarily related to student and educational issues. Most of our employees are located at the Ultuna campus, but the department also has staff at SLU's other main locations in Alnarp and Umeå.

We are 15 people in the unit for study administration and mobility, and we primarily work with admissions, graduation, tuition fees, mobility, and credit transfer.
