Vikingstad Parish is located just west of Linköping, 7 minutes by train, and is a parish of opportunities. Today, there are about 3600 church members, and we are growing as Vikingstad expands. The parish has 5 churches and additionally, the Church House with facilities and offices for most of us 13 who make up the parish's work team. The Sunday service is, of course, the center of the parish, but there is also a lot of activity for all ages.

We are looking for someone who

· is an educated parish educator, leisure leader, or has other education or experience relevant to the position

· longs to work with children, confirmands, and youth

· is okay with working both daytime and evenings and weekends

· shares the beliefs and values of the Church of Sweden and is a member of the Church of Sweden

· has at least a B driver's license and access to a car

The position includes, among other things,

· primarily working with confirmand, youth, and children's activities

· being part of the work team and the development that through planning, visions, and implementation will take Vikingstad Parish into the future.

· leading devotions and participating in services

· collaborating with schools and other community actors in the parish

· You are good at creating and developing good relationships with people.

· It is equally natural for you to collaborate with colleagues as it is to work independently.

· Since the work is varied, it also requires you to be flexible and have the ability to plan and organize your work according to the framework of the activities and the budget you are responsible for.
