  • Wellness allowance and favorable discounts via E-passi

Welcome with your application!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of support coordinator, you will work closely with the client, authority, and execution personnel to achieve a sustainable solution for the client based on their needs and thoughts about their future.

The clients are often in a socially vulnerable position and are frequently in a placement process, either before, during, or on their way home. The goal is to create good conditions for them to return to an independent life in Alingsås. Success factors for this include providing the client with predictability, control over their situation, flexible support, and full transparency. The support coordinator works closely with the client where they are, which means working with clients in prisons, SiS institutions, treatment homes, etc., to start planning the next steps with the client at an early stage.

In your role as a support coordinator, you will have two colleagues with the same responsibilities. In your role, you coordinate all parts that are important for the client and their network, for example, in contact with other authorities such as schools, specialized psychiatry, employment services, correctional services, and more. The support coordinator is the one who drives the work together with the client and is responsible for ensuring that the process continues and that all involved receive the information they need. The work also crosses boundaries within the administration.

The target group consists of individuals aged approximately 15 and older with complex issues: everything from serious crime to harmful use and dependence, as well as mental health problems. The client's own choices, resources, and strengths are always the starting point in the work, and we work to ensure that our clients never have to fall between different interventions. In your role, you have great opportunities to influence working hours and planning based on both your and the client's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with the target group and who sees collaboration as a success factor in social work. A bachelor's degree in social work, humanities, or behavioral sciences is required for the position, as well as solid experience in social work, motivational and treatment work. You should also have experience collaborating with other community actors such as psychiatry, correctional services, schools, and employment services. Good familiarity with digital tools and documentation according to SoL is a requirement. A B driver's license is also necessary.

It is an advantage if you have further education in conversation methodology, treatment, and/or cross-professional collaboration, as well as experience working with individuals who have substance abuse issues and criminality. An interest and experience in developing working methods and creating effective collaboration forms across professional boundaries are also advantageous.

As a person, you are independent and take your own initiatives. You need to be confident in working independently with clients and have the ability to switch between both administrative tasks and treatment conversations. You are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances, and see opportunities in changes. You work well with others, listen actively, and handle conflicts in a constructive and attentive manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
