About Us

The outpatient care forms the basis of child psychiatric work. Our mission is to investigate and treat psychiatric diagnoses in children and adolescents aged 6-18 years. We work cross-professionally and in teams.

With our care neighbors and other important community actors such as primary care, schools, habilitation, pediatric medicine, and social services, we have a well-developed collaboration.

The BUP clinic is undergoing a significant development and organizational effort to enhance the operations in relation to patients and care neighbors. The goal is to develop a BUP with robust receptions and broad competence regarding both professional categories and diagnostic areas. As an employee, you have the opportunity to influence how the future BUP should look. About the Position

As a social worker, you are offered a stimulating and varied job. You work in a cross-professional team together with other professionals with the support of a team leader and unit manager. Your tasks primarily consist of treatment work aimed at individuals and groups as well as consultations in relation to care neighbors and partners.

Your base is at the outpatient care in Lysekil, which is a satellite reception to Uddevalla. As part of your position, you will be at Uddevalla Hospital a few times a month. You will travel during working hours to conduct operations together with your colleagues and participate in training on-site.

We offer patients and families visits digitally, telephone consultations, or physical visits.

Qualifications

Degree in social work or education deemed adequate by the employer. Basic psychotherapy training (step 1). It is an advantage if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker. We prefer that you have experience working with children and their parents. You should be able to work both in team collaboration and independently with families, children, and adolescents.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is part of BUP Väst (Uddevalla, Lysekil, and Strömstad) with the place of employment in Lysekil.
