Who will you be working with?

I am a cheerful and positive woman from northern Sweden, over 70 years old, living in the countryside in Sollebrunn with my husband. Some of my interests include color, design, sports, movies, and dogs. I was affected by polio early in life and currently live with its aftereffects. I rely on a respirator 24/7 as I do not have my own breathing.

Scope of Work

The shifts are 12 hours long, with hours from 08:00 to 20:00 and 20:00 to 08:00 (awake night). The position includes both weekdays and weekends. We are now looking for someone who wants to work daytime from 08:00 to 20:00. A part of the vacation is spent on the coast, and during weeks 26-31, you need to be able to work from there. You also need to be available well before week 26 to undergo your training at my home, in preparation for summer work in Grundsund. In the fall, there is an opportunity to continue as a substitute for regular staff during their absence due to illness and vacation, and then at my regular home outside Sollebrunn.

Who are you applying?

You are a woman, preferably with some life experience, self-sufficient, and able to take your own initiatives as you will be working alone. Some double assistance is available and used during doctor visits, etc. You should also be attentive, secure, and stable. Smoke- and snuff-free during working hours. A driver's license and a car are required as public transport is limited in the area. No prior experience in the profession is needed as training will take place on-site, but it is an advantage. Since the work involves tasks close to personal integrity, I am only seeking female assistants.
