About Me

I live with my family in central Gothenburg and have a fun job at Move & Walk, a daily activity center where I feel really good. In my spare time, I play boccia, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy finding fun activities. Since I have a CP disability, I need an assistant who can support me in my daily life – both with training and other practical matters.

Who Are You?

You are a confident and positive person with good energy. Since I communicate using a letter board, it’s important that you speak and understand Swedish well – you will be my voice to the outside world!

I train a lot on the mat, both at home and at Move & Walk, so it’s a big bonus if you are physically active and can help me with my exercises. If you also have an encouraging way and can motivate me when my energy runs low? Perfect!

In addition to training, I need help with personal hygiene, transfers, driving my wheelchair, and other daily tasks.

Practical Details

• Working hours 07:30-17:45 or 17:30-08:00 (sleeping duty 6 hours)
• Non-smoking workplace
• Driver's license is an advantage
• Experience with lifts or personal assistance is a plus – but personality chemistry is the most important.

We start with hourly employment, but if we get along well, there is an opportunity for a fixed-term employment at 70%. There is also a chance to fill in extra when needed.

The cooperative has roots in the Independent Living movement, which is based on the principle that those with disabilities know best how they want to live their lives. Normally, the person entitled to assistance is their assistants' closest manager, or a person with special knowledge about the individual is appointed.
