Your tasks

We are looking for a native language teacher in Dutch. You will conduct native language instruction in Dutch.

As a native language teacher, you will follow the curriculum for the subject of native language, as well as write assessments and assign grades.

The native language instruction in Orust municipality is conducted in age-heterogeneous groups of students in different grades and at different schools. Since the student base may change during the year, it is important that you as a person are flexible and have the ability to adapt your teaching accordingly. Currently, the placement is in Henån, but you will work at several different schools in the municipality, and therefore you need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

About you

We are looking for someone with very good knowledge of Dutch in both spoken and written language, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language. In all conversations with colleagues, the Swedish language is used, and you need to be able to express yourself fluently in both spoken and written language. We prefer that you have previous teaching experience. Previous experience as a native language teacher is an advantage.

You are engaged and flexible in your teaching. You have the ability to see all students' different needs and take into account their individual circumstances in teaching. You have the ability to build good relationships with both students and parents as well as other colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You have good IT skills, and it is advantageous if you have experience using IT tools in teaching.

Before a possible employment, Orust municipality requires that the applicant presents an extract from the criminal record.

Additional information:

Working hours/duration: Hourly employment for Ht-25 with the possibility of extension.

Workload: approximately 4 hours/week depending on the number of students.

Salary: Individual salary setting
