Hedens School consists of several educational units. Hedens School 4-6 and Hedens School 7-9 have a total of 380 students. Starting from the spring term of 2025, the entire school will be mobile-free. This means that students will hand in their phones at the start of the school day and receive them back at the end of the school day.

Job Description

We are looking for a clear and engaged teacher for Hedens School who can adapt and structure their teaching to suit both the group's and the individual student's needs. Your tasks will include standard teaching duties such as planning, conducting, and evaluating instruction for grades 6-9. You will collaborate with a subject colleague. You will be part of the 7-9 work team, and together you will be responsible for a grade. You will be a mentor alongside a colleague, and together you will be responsible for a class. Mentorship includes supporting and encouraging the student in their schooling to ensure they have good conditions to achieve satisfactory results in all subjects. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the school's joint development projects with your colleagues.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is qualified and licensed in Spanish and preferably English.
  • Has good leadership skills.
  • Consciously prioritizes the curriculum's goals, values, and views on learning.
  • Works with evaluation and reflection as a means to develop students' learning environments.
  • Wants to work in a team in a learning environment with an emphasis on a common approach.
  • Has a good ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.

If qualified in additional subjects, the extent of the position can be discussed. We reserve the right to fill the position internally.
