RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for preschool teachers for our Reggio-inspired preschool in northern Torslanda, located in beautiful natural areas close to the sea. If you are interested in working at a smaller preschool with a great opportunity for influence, this is something for you!

We are looking for a colleague who is positive, innovative, and wants to contribute to a good working environment. You want to work to promote the children's exploration and learning while being given the opportunity to develop, think outside the box, and help develop the preschool's education. At our preschool, we work project-based where the children's questions and thoughts form the basis for direction. We believe that you are passionate about creating environments that are accessible, creative, and challenging where children are involved and have influence in their education.

We have the privilege of having a pedagogista attached to the unit who guides educators in systematic quality work and the design of learning environments. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for implementing the educational work with the children according to governing documents such as the preschool curriculum, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, etc.

All educators at the preschool have their own computer and iPad as working tools. Therefore, it is important that you master digital tools and feel comfortable with them.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher with previous experience in Reggio Emilia-inspired education. If you have any form of mentoring education, it is an advantage. Basic IT skills are required. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

You should have a professional approach with the ability to create engagement and joy in the workplace based on the curriculum. You have strong initiative, are goal-oriented, structured, and above all curious.

In your work, you should be able to plan, document, analyze, and express yourself well in speech and writing. You should have a professional attitude towards your work, be curious, attentive, flexible, and creative. You have the ability to build good relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians.
