Support is provided by study and career counselors and a resource team consisting of special educators and counselors. The adult education operates in nice premises, centrally located in the city, with proximity to public transport. Responsibilities

Are you a certified teacher looking for a change? Do you have the qualifications to teach Swedish as a second language and English at the high school level? Then you are welcome to apply for a position with us! Your responsibilities as a teacher in adult education include planning, implementing, and following up on teaching for adults in your subjects. Sometimes you share the course with a colleague, in other cases, you teach the course alone. The position includes support for students that is planned outside of lesson time. You work and develop teaching together with your subject team, which consists of engaged and knowledgeable teachers. It may be relevant to teach students at both the high school and basic level in adult education. Evening classes are often included, typically one evening per week.

Qualifications

You have a relevant teaching degree and teaching certification for high school (attached with the application). As a teacher in adult education, you need to be able to plan and implement stimulating and meaningful teaching for adults based on the school's governing documents. You are a good leader who creates both energy and safety in your teaching groups and are an engaged, positive, creative, and solution-oriented person. You need to be attentive to the needs of the group and individual students and have the ability to adapt your teaching. To work in adult education, you need to be interested in people, outgoing, flexible, and able to collaborate. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
