Special Teacher F-6 at Tidavad School

Tidavad School is a small school in a picturesque environment, where cows graze outside the window. The preschool facilities are also connected to the school, creating opportunities for joint projects and secure relationships for our total of 90 students.

For the autumn term, we are looking for a special teacher for grades F-6 for a longer substitute position at 80%.

RESPONSIBILITIES

It is important to us that students and staff feel safe. Therefore, we work purposefully to create a positive and democratic school environment for everyone. Students are offered beautiful views and proximity to forests and water, where exploration and discovery are integrated into the learning processes.

As a special teacher, you will contribute to developing our learning environment and provide special support to students with reading, writing, and language difficulties. You have experience and knowledge of students with these challenges, and you possess the pedagogical tools to help them.

In addition, you will also have some responsibility for coordinating students and certain documentation and investigation responsibilities. We primarily work inclusively in the classroom but of course adjust the support based on students' needs.

You will be part of a team of ten educators at the school, which includes both teachers and leisure staff. You will have close cooperation with the student health team to work preventively and promote the educational goals.

The duration of the position is contingent upon the regular employee not returning earlier than expected.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher with additional training as a special teacher. Previous work experience teaching students in need of special support is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, responsive, and trustworthy. You have a secure and inspiring leadership style for the children and the ability to create good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are creative and resourceful and have an easy time adapting to the individual student's needs and circumstances. We also see that you are development-oriented with the ability to plan, document, and evaluate the activities based on applicable governing documents.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
