Älgarås School is a small, cozy village school located in a picturesque area. Our outdoor environment is something out of the ordinary. All teachers and students know each other well, and we work closely together, creating a sense of community and security. Älgarås School is now looking for a teacher for grades 4-6.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop a rural school and sees the advantages of smaller classes and close collaboration. You understand the importance of being part of a small context where you actively take responsibility for the learning of the students, yourself, and your colleagues at the school. You are not afraid to bring your own ideas and try new methods. You appreciate the freedom that comes with working in a smaller unit.

You are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for grades 4-6. The subject combinations we are looking for are social studies, physical education, and art. You are structured in your work approach and find it easy to collaborate.

We would like you to have broad qualifications in several subjects. Experience with ICT and various digital pedagogical tools is also prioritized. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. The tasks consist of teaching students in grades 4-6. You should be able to work independently and, together with the team, plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work in the student group according to the school's curriculum.

Experience with grading is an advantage.

Start date 250811 or by agreement, provided that the position does not need to be filled by existing staff and that organizational conditions are met. The position may be filled before the application deadline, and interviews may be conducted continuously.
