Mimers Hus Gymnasium was inaugurated in 2004 and is an attractive high school located in central Kungälv.

Currently, approximately 1600 students attend the school, distributed across twelve national programs, including both vocational and academic preparatory programs as well as introductory programs (IM). The school also offers a sports profile within all programs and entrepreneurship education (UF) in several.

The school employs around 180 staff members.

IM consists of four programs with different purposes and partially different content. They all share the common goal of preparing students for further studies or facilitating their establishment in the labor market. Our shared goal and focus is that everyone should succeed.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a certified teacher in Math/Science/Technology for grades 7-9 and Math level 1.

As a teacher with us at IM, you will work closely with your colleagues in your team and our student health team. The position also includes mentorship.

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching as well as assessing your students' knowledge. Follow-up and conversations with students, parents, and other key functions concerning our students are an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

Has qualifications in Math for grades 7-9 and Math level 1 in combination with Science/Technology for grade 9.
Has a coaching approach and is good at building positive relationships with those you meet in your professional role.
Sees modern technology as a natural choice in your role as an educator.
Has the ability to see all students and take into account their individual circumstances, using your knowledge to promote creative and inclusive learning environments.
Enjoys making visible and reflecting on approaches and learning processes together with students and colleagues.
Documented experience working with NPF is an advantage.
