Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and now has 29 primary schools and six high schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by founder Peje Emilsson and family.

Kunskapsgymnasiet Göteborg is a high school with preparatory programs (NA, SA, EK). The school has about 350 students. The school started in 2003 and is located in beautiful Gårda, just a stone's throw from tram stops.

We work focused on being close to the students. In addition to being subject teachers, most teachers also have the role of study coach for a group of students. The focus of the study coaching is leadership at the individual, group, and societal levels, which we also work with within the courses.

Qualifications

As an applicant, you should be an educated and qualified career and guidance counselor.

Preferred Qualifications

We would like you to have several years of experience guiding youth and be able to lead even difficult conversations. We place great value on your commitment and relational ability. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can build trust with the students.

We want our guidance counselor to be an active part of the school and the student health team, enjoy speaking in front of entire classes, and be able to work proactively. It is an advantage if you have experience collaborating with external actors such as KAA, companies, organizations, vocational schools, and universities to find solutions for our students.

Working Hours and Duration

The position is a permanent part-time position at 50%. Start date August 4 or by agreement.
