About the job

Bokenäs School is located about 20 kilometers west of Uddevalla.

The school is situated in a rural and inspiring environment close to forests and the sea, providing good opportunities for nature studies and outdoor play/teaching.

Bokenäs School believes that students should be able to reach their full potential in terms of knowledge acquisition and learning. We have a relational approach where we aim to find the right conditions for learning.

Job Responsibilities

You plan, analyze, and document your and the students' work through collegial and collaborative learning. You see colleagues as an asset not only for the students' learning but also for your own learning. You work together with primary school teachers and leisure educators.

You have the ability to create sustainable professional relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are knowledgeable in theory and dare to reconsider your practice in order to achieve greater goal fulfillment. You are calm and meet each individual student with respect and clarity through your belief that the student can succeed. In the classroom/leisure home, you create security and study peace through a good learning environment that includes structure but also allows for creativity and play. It is highly meritorious if you have proven experience with NPF issues and understand the importance of low-affect responses as it is important to work for KASAM.

Qualifications

• Have a teaching degree with certification for leisure homes, or a leisure educator degree.
• Have experience from similar work.
• Recognize the importance of collaboration as a large part of the work involves working in teams around the students.
• Communicates, takes responsibility for, and creates a good working climate to establish a calm, safe, and pleasant school environment.
