Tidavad School is a smaller school in a picturesque environment, where cows graze outside the window. The preschool facilities are also connected to the school, creating opportunities for joint projects and secure relationships for our total of 90 students.

For the autumn term, we are looking for a primary school teacher for a permanent position teaching grade 1.

RESPONSIBILITIES

For us, it is important that students and staff feel safe. Therefore, we work purposefully to create a positive and democratic school environment for everyone. Students are offered beautiful views and proximity to forests and water, where exploration and discovery are integrated into the learning processes.

As a class teacher in grade 1, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching.

In this role, you shape the teaching from a holistic perspective, encouraging students to want and dare to try methods and solutions, while developing confidence in their abilities in different contexts. You also recognize the importance of differentiating the teaching in terms of structure and content based on the needs of the student group.

You will be part of a team of ten educators at the school, including both teachers and leisure staff. You have a close collaboration with the student health team to work preventively and promote the educational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for grades F-3 and has teaching qualifications in aesthetic subjects. Previous experience in the school world is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and trustworthy. You have a secure and inspiring leadership style for the children and the ability to create good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You are creative and resourceful, and you easily adapt to the individual needs and circumstances of each student. We also see that you are development-oriented with the ability to plan, document, and evaluate the activities based on applicable governing documents.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
