We are looking for an operations manager for the Ulricehamn Riding Club.

You are a hippologist or have equivalent competence in riding schools or equestrian activities and have experience in a leadership position.

The Ulricehamn Riding Club (UBRK) is an important gathering place for many children, youth, and adults who spend a large part of their leisure time at the facility. There is room for everyone, from beginners to competitive riders. The association has an active competition committee and works to maintain an active youth section.

UBRK has about 250 members and operates as a non-profit organization.

The facility consists of a stable and an indoor riding arena; as well as three outdoor arenas. In the surrounding area, we have large, lovely pastures and a walking trail. The stable has space for 18 horses/ponies, and we have about 180 riding sessions per week.

We are affiliated with the Swedish Equestrian Federation and work for a safe environment for both horses and people.

About the job

You will be part of our team to develop education in equestrian knowledge and riding. You find it easy to collaborate and are a positive and good role model. As a leader, you should enjoy taking responsibility and working with horses and people.

The position includes, in addition to teaching riding and equestrian knowledge, also training lesson horses, stable duties, administration, and other tasks within a riding school operation. Which parts depend on the service factor.

You should be comfortable using a computer and Idrott Online.

Qualifications

· Educated hippologist or equivalent competence - experience is required.

Your mission:

· You have personnel responsibility for permanent and temporary staff

· You plan, lead, and distribute work within the riding school and facility, e.g., regarding staffing, purchases, farrier, veterinary visits

· You collaborate with our staff, the board, and other members

· You are responsible for a good and safe operation

· You are responsible for a good and safe work environment, e.g., by driving systematic work environment efforts and holding employee conversations

· You are responsible for the proper care of our horses

· You are a good role model and leader

· You participate in board meetings and report on operations

· You are UBRK's representative and face in various contexts

· You have good financial knowledge and are responsible for the organization's budget together with the board

· You have overall responsibility for the riding school

Employment form: Permanent 60-100% with a 6-month probationary period

Working hours: according to schedule, including evening and weekend shifts

Salary: Salary setting is individual

Start date: as soon as possible

Desirable qualifications:

Hippologist, SRL I-III

Experience with Hippocrates, Fortnox

Knowledge of Idrott Online

Experience working with websites and social media

BE driver's license

Experience with tractors
