About the Position

We are currently looking for 8 preschool teachers for the preschools in Tidaholm Municipality. The positions are available both in the urban area and in the countryside. The positions are permanent full-time employment starting on 2025-08-11.

With us, the child is always at the center, and we strive for a safe, fun, and educational preschool every day. We achieve this by prioritizing forums for collegial learning. Developing and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors. All preschools in the municipality work according to Helen Jenvén's theories and actively capture children's influence and participation in the content of the activities. We also offer support functions in the form of special educators, speech therapists, and our interdisciplinary team “Samkraft”.

A day at preschool is filled with various meetings between children and educators. Each meeting is significant and part of the child's safety, development, and learning. In your role, you will therefore be part of utilizing this to make preschool safe, educational, and enjoyable for everyone. Together with your colleagues, you will take special responsibility for developing education according to the Curriculum.

Learning processes are made visible through pedagogical documentation, and you have a particular responsibility in this work. You actively and systematically work to create stimulating and developing learning environments. This is made possible through shared collegial reflections where we meet and manage each other's thoughts that contribute to our growth in our respective professions.

The municipality offers you as a preschool teacher, among other things, six hours of planning time per week, free pedagogical lunch prepared on-site, work clothes, as well as wellness grants and opportunities for professional development. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will also be offered a mentor to create conditions for entering your professional role.

Qualifications

We want you to be a preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license and have previous experience working in preschool. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the work, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and enjoy taking on challenges. You are proactive, driven, and independent. Furthermore, you see the importance of building good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. We therefore see that you as a preschool teacher have a good attitude towards children, guardians, and colleagues characterized by the belief in everyone's equal value and that everyone wants to and can. You are positive, spread joy, and show a willingness to work.

You always work with the child's best interests in focus. Knowledge and participation are key principles in our teaching, and we offer children "New Discoveries - Every Day!" This means that you as a preschool teacher are a co-researching adult and are responsive to children's interests and needs.

You demonstrate a good ability to understand and implement the preschool's mission in practice. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, as well as taking special responsibility for education, you contribute to a respectful work climate.
