Hedens school consists of several school units. Hedens school 4-6 and Hedens school 7-9 have a total of 380 students. Starting from the spring term of 2025, the entire school will be mobile-free. This means that students will hand in their phones at the start of school and receive them back at the end of the school day.

Job Description

Hedens school in Hönö is looking for a qualified teacher for the later years of primary school. We are looking for a clear and engaged teacher who can adapt and structure their teaching to suit both the group's and the individual student's needs. You have a good ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians. You enjoy working in teams and want to actively contribute to the school's joint development and projects. You will be part of the team for grades 7-9, and together you will be responsible for a grade. You will be a mentor along with a colleague, and together you will be responsible for a class. The mentorship involves supporting and encouraging the student in their schooling so that they have good conditions to achieve good results in all subjects. You will also have the opportunity to actively contribute to the school's joint development projects with your colleagues.

Your Background

We are looking for a licensed teacher qualified to teach technology and mathematics in grades 4-9. We prefer that you are qualified in more subjects. You are confident in your teaching role with proven ability to strengthen students' self-esteem, and you have good pedagogical and social skills. You can work independently and have the ability to provide educational and rewarding teaching. You strive to continuously develop yourself and the learning environment. Personal suitability is therefore of great importance.
