Kung Karl School is located in Kungsäter, about 35 kilometers northeast of Varberg. It is a F–6 school with approximately 80 students and an integrated after-school program, surrounded by a vast and scenic environment. Together, they form the heart of the picturesque village.

After completing grade 6, students continue their education at Lindbergs School for grades 7–9. Our students appreciate varied teaching and want the opportunity to influence how they present their knowledge. This is something that the fall's work in the faculty will focus on.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a craft teacher for grades 3-5, you will work with teaching, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is carried out according to established goals and guidelines. You will work alongside a qualified colleague, and together you will design a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good study results. The work is done in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest driving force. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us in Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and resting on scientific and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be a licensed craft teacher for the earlier years of primary school.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment rate. This means that the employee has the right to work full-time or part-time as desired.
