The Gothenburg Primary School Administration is one of the largest school administrations in Sweden. We are responsible for the city's municipal schools from preschool to grade nine, adapted primary school, culture school, and after-school care. In the administration, there are 138 municipal primary schools where almost 47,000 students attend school every day. The entire administration has about 9,700 employees who work together to develop and care for the operation - together we pave the way for the school of the future.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sannaskolan is a secondary school in Majorna, with about 540 students and over 60 employees.

At Sannaskolan, there is a special teaching group (SU level 2) with space for 20 students. In our SU group, students with various neuropsychiatric disabilities, primarily within the autism spectrum, attend. Around these students, teachers, student assistants, and special educators work in a team.

In our work, we have a student- and knowledge-focused approach, where intrinsic motivation, co-creation, and a desire to learn are important ingredients. Together, we create a working environment where students and employees are involved. We strive to provide our students with the best conditions, and we are now looking for someone who wants to be an important part of this work.

We are now looking for a teacher in mathematics and science who will be part of the SU group's team and teach the SU group's students (grades 7-9) and be a mentor for some of them.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated and certified teacher with the authority to teach mathematics and science for grades 7-9. You are welcome to have experience working in an SU group and/or in adapted primary school.

We are looking for someone who:

• has experience and knowledge of students with neuropsychiatric diagnoses
• has good subject knowledge
• has good collaboration skills and knowledge of how to contribute to structure in an operation
• has a strong commitment, is attentive, and flexible in meeting students
• is a skilled and helpful colleague who enjoys having fun at work!
