RESPONSIBILITIES

Lilla Skintebovägen is a new, modern preschool in Billdal with bright and welcoming facilities. Our preschool consists of 10 departments and a large yard that offers many exciting places for children's play and learning. We are a preschool that wants to create an inspiring environment where both children and staff thrive. We are now looking for four dedicated preschool teachers, two for younger children's departments and two for older children's departments. One of the positions is a maternity leave substitute and three of the positions are permanent.

As a preschool teacher at Lilla Skintebovägen, you are an important part of our team and are responsible for leading and developing the operations in your department in line with the preschool's goals and curriculum. We strive to create a collaborative preschool where a shared commitment to children's learning and development permeates our entire operation. The best interests of the children are always in focus, and we work to ensure equality by starting from each child's individual needs and circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher and have good knowledge of the preschool teacher's responsibilities and assignments. You have experience leading instruction and are used to working in a team where collaboration and development are central. Since we have a particular focus on children's language development, it is important that you master Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will have a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

For us, it is important that you have a positive and open attitude and base your planning and implementation of instruction on each child's interests and needs. You are a responsive and relationship-building person who sees the value in building good relationships with both children, colleagues, and guardians. You understand the importance of actively listening and seeking others' opinions to create an inclusive and respectful work environment.

In the role of preschool teacher, it is crucial that you can work together with others to develop the preschool's education and achieve common goals. You are solution-oriented and have the ability to think innovatively and suggest improvements that are implemented in practice. The work also includes documentation and analysis of instruction in our systematic quality work, where we constantly strive to improve and develop our operations.

As a person, you gain energy from supporting and contributing to others' learning. You create conditions for children's development by encouraging participation, dialogue, and engagement, and you have the ability to explain information in a way that suits different recipients.
