In the city of Mölndal, we take pride in having Sweden's most important jobs where we together create the best possible everyday life for our citizens. With knowledge, courage, and creativity, we develop our operations and contribute to making Mölndal an even better place to live and work. Welcome to make a difference in people's everyday lives every day!
The adapted primary schools in Mölndal consist of Rävekärrs adapted primary school and Katrinebergs adapted primary school, both of which are grades 1-6 schools, as well as Solängsskolan, which is grades 7-9.
Before the autumn term of 2025, we will merge Katrinebergs and Rävekärrs adapted primary school into a brand new school that will be developed for the future. We welcome students from all over the city of Mölndal and, if necessary, also from neighboring municipalities. We are now looking for teachers in leisure homes who want to help develop and contribute to a creative learning environment for all our fantastic students. If you feel that you are that person, we would love for you to become our new colleague.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher in a leisure home, you have a central role in creating a safe, stimulating, and developing environment for our students. Together with your team, you plan and implement an operation where cooperation, joy, and professionalism permeate the daily work, and we believe that you contribute just this.
You work closely with the students and support them throughout their school day, both in teaching and during leisure activities. Together, we create a positive learning environment based on good communication and adapted working methods.
Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), such as sign language support, is a natural part of our operations. These tools help our students develop their communication and provide them with the best conditions for positive academic and social development.
To ensure you have the best conditions in your work, you have access to our student health team, where you receive support and guidance from a special educator, speech therapist, counselor, and psychologist.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification as a teacher in leisure homes
Experience working with children with disabilities and NPF
Knowledge of augmentative communication (AAC)
You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you promote a respectful and developing work climate. You understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole.
You gain energy from contributing to others' learning and create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
You listen to others in order to understand their needs. You actively seek others' opinions and perspectives and are receptive to them by showing respect, consideration, and care. You work for cohesion in the workgroup and see failures as something to learn from, creating space for dialogue.
