Your Mission

The Controller Unit is looking for a new employee to work on the urban development process and have coordination responsibility for project controllers.

Within the urban development process, issues related to land and exploitation, strategic planning for housing, workplaces, and land ownership, as well as the implementation of urban development projects are handled. You will belong to the controller unit where the unit manager will be your closest supervisor.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Compiling and delivering data and comments for the projects' overall and annual financial status and driving the process for preparing monthly and quarterly reports and annual accounts for the Urban Development Process. Follow-up and analysis of the organization's revenues and costs as well as key figures.
• Analyzing the total investment portfolio for urban development and driving the development of the investment process within the organization.
• Continuously evaluating the investment portfolio's forecasts and risks and transforming risks into different scenarios with accompanying consequence descriptions.
• Coordinating and developing financial processes together with project controllers and operations.
• Driving the budget and forecasting process to ensure quality in these.
• Providing support for operational, tactical, and strategic business decisions and operational decisions.
• Driving continuous improvement projects to enhance processes for the Urban Development Process and within the controller unit.
• Actively participating in the development of urban planning projects and monitoring agreements as well as reviewing and ensuring these from a financial perspective for the municipality.
• Actively participating in the development of digital solutions within BI and other system supports.

Your Experience

• Relevant university education in economics, business administration, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in qualified controller work and good knowledge of budgeting/forecasting, planning, follow-up, and analysis in a larger organization.
• Analysis of complex and larger investment projects.
• Several years of experience in qualified controller work within community building, contracting, or complex investment projects (>500 million SEK).
• Experience in driving the development and improvement of processes and routines as well as system support for this.
• Several years of experience in accounting and closing work.
• Very good knowledge of Excel.
• Good experience of having worked in various financial and BI systems.

Meritorious

• Experience in strategic management of investment portfolios.
• Similar work within a politically governed organization.
• Coordination responsibility for controllers.
• Experience from Unit4 Business World (UBW), Stratsys, QlikSense, budgeting systems with good functionalities for project and portfolio management, Kolada, Power BI, Antura.
