We at People of Finance are now looking for a skilled accounting assistant/accountant for our client located in modern offices in central Stockholm.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a meticulous and structured accounting assistant/accountant for a business law firm in central Stockholm. The firm specializes in insolvency law and dispute resolution and operates under a "true partnership" model that fosters a strong team culture. You will be part of the finance department, which currently consists of two people, and will have a broad role where you will eventually handle:

• Ongoing bookkeeping & account reconciliations
• VAT declarations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Insolvency bookkeeping & liquidations
• Payroll management for approximately 30 employees

Our client works in structured processes with high accuracy and traceability, which requires a humble team player who follows established routines.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in accounting and VAT declarations
• Is meticulous, humble, analytical, and self-driven
• Is a team player who values collaboration with colleagues
• Is proficient in Excel and fluent in Swedish
• Has experience working in various systems (Fortnox is a plus)

Location: Central Stockholm, near Hötorget, and almost exclusively on-site work

Scope: 50–100% (flexible)

Start: As agreed

Employment: Permanent with a probationary period

Benefits: very good in addition to a market-based salary, including the possibility of a bonus
