About the position

As a member of the team responsible for the authority's mail and distribution within the property department, you will be part of a service-oriented and committed team where you play a key role in ensuring safe and quality handling of the authority's incoming and outgoing mail and package deliveries. Your tasks include sorting and distributing mail and packages according to established routines, and you are responsible for providing our internal customers with a high level of service. You will greet visitors, handle incoming cases via the service portal, manage inventory and replenishment, and handle courier orders. You will also have the opportunity to perform other service-related tasks within the department's responsibilities.

You will have many points of contact, both internal and external, where you will ensure that our delivery of property-related services is timely and accurate through good collaboration and planning. You will also work with the overall development work of the organization and systematic safety work within your area of responsibility.

The tasks sometimes involve heavy lifting, so you need to be physically capable of handling mail and packages of various sizes and weights.

The position is located at Gärdet in Stockholm.

About you

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma in a relevant field and experience in a similar role focused on service and logistics within property-related services. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, we expect you to be an experienced computer user and proficient in the Office suite. A forklift certification is required for the role.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience with tasks that require a high level of safety awareness and knowledge of systems related to mail handling and shipments. If you have also worked in a government agency, that is a plus.

Within the infrastructure staff, there is the property department responsible for FMV's overall premises supply. This includes procurement, maintenance, and decommissioning of premises, facilities, and land, as well as establishing appropriate physical security and personnel and technical surveillance for the authority's needs. The department is the point of contact for all contractual parties in the property area and manages and follows up on the authority's rental and lease agreements, garrison agreements, and plans for the provision and allocation of premises based on management's direction and the organization's needs.

The department also systematically handles fire and electrical safety work, conducts property operations and maintenance, various support services in the form of surveillance, moving, parking, and catering services, cleaning, switchboard services, and landline telephony, furnishings, copiers, and office equipment.
