About the Position

Your Main Responsibilities

You will be welcomed into a team that is eager to share experiences, has a high ceiling, and where a lot happens. You will be responsible for the work of the controller unit, which belongs to the finance department and is part of the municipal executive office. The unit consists of a team of 13 controllers working within the municipality's various operational areas. You will report to the Chief Financial Officer and work to maintain the municipality's overall economy.

You will have a central role in the municipality's financial management and will work with operational planning, budgeting, and financial follow-up. The municipality actively works on development and long-term financial planning. You will play an important role in this work and be a key sounding board for controllers and managers.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

has an academic education in finance or similar
has several years of experience as a manager and the ability to be clear and engage others
is development-oriented, change-ready, and has the ability to adapt the unit's work to changing conditions
is structured and enjoys coordinating and planning the unit's work
has a strong drive with good analytical skills
has a good ability to create relationships and instill trust among employees, managers, and elected officials at all levels of the organization.
has a good understanding of accounting and experience from the controller's work
has a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing

Meritorious:

experience working in politically governed organizations
