Court Administrator at Södertörn District Court

Södertörn District Court is one of the largest district courts in the country, employing around 250 staff. The court handles a large number of criminal cases, civil disputes, applications for divorce, bankruptcies, and court matters. In 2024, the court received over 22,684 cases and matters. The court consists of six adjudicating departments and one administrative department. We are now looking for several court administrators for the adjudicating departments at Södertörn District Court.

Job Responsibilities

As a court administrator, you will be offered varied and developing tasks in an important and exciting operation. You will work in one of the adjudicating departments and be part of a team with other court administrators who work closely together.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Receiving and registering documents
  • Answering procedural questions
  • Planning and summoning for hearings
  • Monitoring deadlines
  • Making decisions on procedural actions
  • Contacting the public, parties, representatives, and authorities via phone and email
  • Issuing judgments and decisions.

As part of your development, during your initial employment period, you will alternate practical tasks with theoretical training.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed secondary education with a final grade
  • Experience in service-oriented or administrative work that is temporally relevant and for at least 1 year
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Ability to start the position on September 3, 2025.
