About NCSC and FRA

NCSC, the National Cyber Security Center, has since its inception in December 2020 served as a collaborative platform for authorities and the private sector with competencies and tasks in cybersecurity. The center aims to strengthen Sweden's ability to prevent, detect, and manage cyber threats and to promote a general increase in cybersecurity and resilience in society. NCSC is currently developing its organization and operations and has been part of FRA, the National Defense Radio Establishment, since 2024.

The world is FRA's arena. Our task as an intelligence agency is to protect Sweden against the most serious threats that can be directed at a society – military attacks, terrorism, and cyberattacks. We are experts in the cyber field and signal intelligence and serve as an alarm bell for military threats. We are also at the core of Sweden's cyber defense, protecting the most important operations and critical infrastructure from attacks. Together, we have a unique task that we solve with knowledge and expertise that we are alone in possessing in Sweden.

Your Mission

As a junior administrator with an administrative focus, you will belong to the staff of the NCSC department. The NCSC department is newly established at FRA and is currently under construction. As the department develops, your role will also be shaped. In this role, you will have several points of contact within the NCSC department and within FRA. Your task is to provide administrative support to managers and operations, primarily by:

• Managing meeting arrangements (bookings, orders, preparations, visitor registrations, and meeting notes)
• Handling functional mailboxes and some correspondence
• Assisting in case management and record-keeping
• Invoice management
• Travel bookings
• Preparing various types of documentation
• Participating in planning and developing operations
• Handling other recurring tasks within the staff

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school diploma
• Experience in administrative work
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Good knowledge of English
• Knowledge of the Office suite

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience in administrative staff work, preferably within a government agency or other public organization.
• Experience working in intelligence or security services
• Post-secondary education in administration or similar
• Experience with smaller investigative assignments
• Experience working with management support at various levels

More Information

The workplace is currently located in Tomteboda, Solna. In a few years, new premises will be ready in Bergshamra. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security clearance with a background check. The security clearance will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in a war situation.
