Process Leader for Primary School

Do you want to make a difference? The Process Management Unit at the Education Department is currently seeking a structured, service-oriented, and system-savvy process leader for primary school.

The Process Management Unit handles governmental functions and leads a variety of processes within the education sector. The unit's mission includes, among other things, school choice for primary schools, monitoring school attendance, preschool placements, high school choices, VFU placements, state grants, school transport, and complaint management.

About the Job

As a process leader for primary schools, you will work with governmental functions regarding, among other things, monitoring school attendance and school choice for students in Täby municipality.

The tasks of the process leader for primary schools are varied and involve leading and working in a number of different processes, always with the best interests of the students in focus. Main tasks include responsibility for school choice for primary schools, monitoring school attendance, and preparing decision-making materials and statistics.

You will collaborate with other colleagues in the unit and in the Education Department and cooperate with both municipal and independent primary schools as well as social services. The position also involves contact with guardians, school leaders, and administrators in both municipal and independent primary school operations, both within and outside Täby.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• a minimum of post-secondary education that the employer deems relevant, or has acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
• high digital competence and is accustomed to working in various systems and administrative tools and compiling and summarizing statistics of various kinds.
• good knowledge of the Swedish school system in general and primary schools in particular, as well as basic knowledge of the regulations governing schools.
• very good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish and English.

As a person, you are structured, judicious, responsible, meticulous, and have a strong drive to work independently based on your function. You find it easy to collaborate, build good relationships, and communicate in a courteous and clear manner.

Desirable Qualifications:

• experience in school administrative work, preferably in the systems IST administration, My School Choice, and Analysis and Reporting.
• experience working in politically governed organizations.
• experience in dealing with guardians with patience, clarity, and diplomacy.
