Accountant at Elcykelpunkten

Elcykelpunkten is a leading player in the e-bike industry, focusing on offering high-quality e-bikes, accessories, and outdoor clothing. We strive to create a future where e-cycling is an obvious and sustainable part of people's lives.

We are now looking for a service-oriented Accountant with experience in retail to join our headquarters. We are looking for someone who wants to be the face of the company and act as a sounding board, supporting and advising our franchisees regarding financial aspects such as bookkeeping and key performance indicators. Together with the Head of Franchise and Regional Manager, you will participate in ongoing monthly follow-ups with our franchisees (digitally via Teams).

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Monthly reconciliations and month-end closing
• Assistance with accounts payable and receivable
• Financial advice to our franchisees
• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Follow-up on income statements and key figures with franchisees every month, regarding any questions and analysis of actions
• Budgeting and calculations of case studies during changes, potential closures, and openings of new stores
• Ownership and structure regarding cash flow optimization, outstanding rents, and fees
• Inventory routines and advice on inventory values and cash systems (Sitoo).

We Prefer That You Have

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping.
• Previously worked with Fortnox
• Experience in retail with an understanding of store operations and accounting within retail.
• A plus if you have previously worked in/with franchise operations
• A plus if you have experience in payroll management

We are a fast-growing scale-up company with quick decision-making processes and a wonderful family-like atmosphere. Our finance team currently consists of four people. You will report to the Head of Accounting.

We are located in new premises in Sthlm01, Hammarby Sjöstad/Gullmarsplan and currently have about 40 employees. We live by our core values: Attentive, Eager, Brave, and Professional. We implement a remote work policy where we are in the office 3-4 days a week.
