About the Company

We are looking for someone who is at the beginning of their career in accounting and is ready to take the next step! In this role, you will have the opportunity to delve into the core of accounting – with a particular focus on accounts receivable and banking – in a company where understanding the whole is crucial. The company will be presented during the first interview with the responsible recruiter.

Your Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will work broadly and independently within accounting.

Main Responsibilities

• Booking of bank transactions
• Control of incoming payments and handling of error lists in case of discrepancies in bank giro
• Prepare and execute supplier payments
• Manage customer invoicing
• Handle parts of the accounts payable flow
• Accounts maintenance
• Work in the company’s internal and external case management systems
• Reconciliation work, daily and at month-end

Your Profile

• Post-secondary education in accounting
• 1–4 years of experience working as an accounting assistant or accountant (alternatively during studies)
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, debits, and credits
• Experience working independently with accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as bank reconciliations
• Experience with Unit4 is a plus
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone who has worked for a few years in accounting or perhaps has combined their studies with a part-time job in finance. The most important thing for us is that you have a strong drive and a curiosity to understand the whole of what you do. You are willing to take responsibility and have an easy time adapting to new routines and systems.

As a person, you are self-driven and proactive, and you have a strong desire to learn more. You understand that development in ongoing accounting requires both patience and commitment. You have an interest in systems and want to understand the underlying flows, not just click through the processes. Accuracy, accountability, and a solution-oriented approach are obvious parts of how you work. You thrive in a role where you can combine variety with structure, and you have a pleasant and service-oriented attitude in your interactions with others.
