Communicator at the Procurement Authority

As a communicator with us, you will be an important part of the authority's mission to promote sound public procurement for a sustainable future. You will work broadly with communication across various channels. You will also participate in the planning and execution of events and seminars.

About the Role

The role involves being a strategic and operational communication support to the authority's operations. You will plan, project manage, implement, and follow up on target group-adapted communication in different channels. The role requires you to be development-oriented, proactive, and innovative. You also enjoy driving your own projects. You are a good writer with the ability to simplify and clarify complex information.

As a communicator, you work independently but also closely with your colleagues in the communications department and with other employees. You and your colleagues in the department have different areas of expertise and responsibilities, and together you work as a team to create and develop the authority's communication.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in communication or equivalent education and experience that we assess as comparable.
• Relevant experience in the role of communicator in a government authority.
• Experience producing simple films with a mobile camera.
• Knowledge of the web publishing program Optimizely.
• Very good communicative ability in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good skills in writing and improving texts for external and internal communication regarding tone, clarity, and accessibility.

Meritorious

• Experience using image editing tools, such as Photoshop.
• Knowledge of public procurement.
• Experience planning, arranging, and moderating discussions and/or seminars.

The Procurement Authority works for sound public procurement for a sustainable future. We provide support and convey knowledge in public procurement and state aid to many different actors in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. We are also the statistics authority responsible for collecting, developing, managing, and disseminating statistics on public procurement.

Employment

We are looking for an employee for a permanent position and we apply a six-month probationary period.
