Innovation Leader
Do you have experience in innovation management and want to help build our new unit for Innovation, AI, and digital transformation? Then we want to hear from you! About the Position
Your mission is to build innovation capacity within the Red Cross. Your tasks include:
- Leading the work to develop innovation methods and processes for the Swedish Red Cross.
- Communicating knowledge about innovation management within the organization through communication and training efforts, coaching and mentoring both leaders and employees.
- Acting as a process leader for innovation processes at both strategic and practical levels, i.e., both capacity-building initiatives and strategic innovation projects.
- Establishing and coordinating processes for innovation calls at the Swedish Red Cross.
- Developing external partnerships and externally funded initiatives related to innovation.
- Providing advice and acting as support to others within the organization regarding innovation.
- Monitoring and contributing to the development in the field of innovation based on SRK's experiences and needs, as well as gathering inspiration, knowledge, methods, and tools.
We Are Looking For
- Someone who sees opportunities and focuses on benefits, sets engaging goals and actionable plans, and involves everyone around them in the work.
- Someone with many years of documented experience in innovation processes and building an innovation culture in organizations, preferably both theoretical knowledge and practical experience of working in an innovation team.
- Someone who is an expert in innovation methods and has preferably worked with strategic foresight and capacity development in general.
- Someone with experience in developing strategic partnerships and funding for innovation ideas.
- Someone who expresses themselves well in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
Key qualities to thrive and succeed in this role: strategic and driven, creates motivation and progress, communicative and builds trust-based relationships, is pedagogical, helpful, and generous.
Additional Information
The position is located in the unit for Innovation, AI, and digital transformation and is a permanent full-time position with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible.
We offer a flexible work environment with a 36.5-hour workweek and the possibility to work from home up to 2 days a week. The intended location is at our office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, but we also have offices in Malmö, Gothenburg, and Umeå. Some travel, primarily within Sweden, is included in the assignment.
