Finance Assistant for a Startup Company

ABOUT THE POSITION
At Academic Work, we are looking for a finance assistant on behalf of our client who will independently manage accounts payable for 8 different companies, one of which is in Sweden. Our client is a newly established/spin-off company in Solna, consisting of eight companies operating in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the UK, the USA, Italy, and Singapore. They have approximately 250 employees globally and an engaged team of 20 people in Sweden. They offer a dynamic work environment where innovation and growth are in focus. This is a long-term consulting assignment starting at 6 months, with good opportunities for extension or permanent recruitment if all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Responsibilities
- Set up suppliers, including employees as suppliers
- Verify scanned invoices and ensure they are correctly imported into the ERP system
- Allocate imported/registered invoices
- Follow up on approvals and any questions regarding invoices
- Review and approve (from a finance perspective) expense reports
- Make payments for supplier invoices and expenses from respective companies
- Record payments and other bank transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and accounts payable
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a post-secondary education in finance or similar
- Has good knowledge of accounting, especially in AP
- Has good knowledge of Excel
- Has very good knowledge of English as it is used in daily work
It is a merit if you have worked in Maconomy before.
